Agni Perikleous-Soprano

Agni Pericleous is a young Greek Cypriot lyric soprano currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Classical Singing and Opera at the Conservatorium Maastricht under the guidance of Axel Everaert.

She began her musical training at an early age, studying piano at the Limassol National Conservatory until 2013, where she successfully completed ABRSM examinations in both piano and music theory. 

She later attended the Music High School of Limassol “Marios Tokas” (2016-2019)where she further developed her musical education and vocal foundation through training with Andreas Aroditis. During this period, she also received piano lessons from Tania Economou.

Alongside her vocal studies, Agni has an extensive background as a double bass player. She was active in the Musical Talent Development Program (2013-2014) and later with the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra (2014-2016), gaining valuable orchestral and ensemble experience.

In parallel with her instrumental training, she developed a strong passion for singing and stage performance. She has performed with the Melodrama Ensemble (2017-2019) and appeared in productions such as Amahl and the Night Visitors (2019).

Agni has also participated in numerous concerts and choral projects, including the premiere of a composition by Michalis Christodoulides (2018), Choral Crossroads (2018,2019), as well as performances featuring Cypriot musicians at the Musikverein in Vienna (2018).

She continues to refine her artistic identity through vocal training, performance experience, and collaborative musical projects, with a focus on operatic repertoire, Lied interpretation, and concert singing.
